The MRCP as a degree doesn't give you any formal advantage. However if you have >= 3 years training in internal medicine in another country. The American Board of Internal Medicine may reduce your 3 years of residency by up to 1 year so you do 2 years instead of 3. This applies to training in all countries including India for example
