OBGYN is popular amongst American Grads (AMG), which translates to more difficult to successfully match in as an FMG/IMG.

For comparison, in the 2009 residency match

AMGs filled 53% of Internal Medicine residency positions, and 42% of Family Medicine positions with the remaining filled by FMG/IMGs.

so IM, FM are IMG friendly

AMGs filled 91% of orthopedic surgery positions, and 95% of ENT positions.

so these are impossible for IMG/FMG

OBGYN last year 74.2% were filled by AMGs

so it somewhere in the middle.
