Put it under work experience


the only time you would put anything under residency if it was Arab/Sudanese board, or CCST/CCT UK since this are the equivalents of USA residency

I have a question regarding the application in ERAS. I am not sure where we can put the internship , I contacted ERAS support service and they sent me this message

Dear Doctor,

 

Thank you for contacting ERAS Support Services at ECFMG.

If your internship was a clinical or teaching experience, it would count as work experience. If it reflected a U.S residency (within a hospital under contract) then it would be counted as a residency. Please detail your experience in your Personal Statement or Miscellaneous Tab.

so what you think because the format in ERAS is not suitable for our internship although it fulfills their criteria.
