That is great step to start in the steps exam immediately without dely as years of graduation do account for your application later on in the match
Regarding step1, 7 months are quite enough, just be comitted to your reading and preparation for the exam
recommended materials:
1- Kaplan lecture notes for step1
2- Kaplan lecture videaos to help you only if there is something that you couldn't understand from the books, you don't need to watch all the videos. They are time consuming
3- First aid for step1 (read this book after you finish from Kaplan books): this book is a concise concentrated book for the high yield topics in step1, you need it to refresh your memory
4- USMLEWORLD.com Qbank for step1, you need to complete the whole online questions' ban
5- If there is time it will be as well helpful to complete Kaplan Qbank

Hi there, this is Ahmed Bashendi in Chicago I hope that you are ok!
We have the following suggestions to bring life back to this section:
First to use this section “Study groups” to post the city where you live, so you can arrange with each other to prepare for the exams; in terms of finding a study partner especially for the CS exam.
hopefully it will be a good start to build our own directory and in the near future we make the most out of this network to help each other.
Second To have a weekly clinical vignette presenting a highly tested topic for discussion.
We are open to your suggestions and new ideas please if you have any post it here or contact us through email admin@sama-sd.org
and remember this is your forum and it is nothing without you.
