A. SAMA Visiting Faculty Program
As previously planned in our Annual Meeting in June 2010, we are announcing the SAMA Visiting Faculty Program.
It is an opportunity for Sudanese physicians in USA to share their knowledge and experience by delivering lectures in academic institutions in Sudan during their vacation in Sudan.
SAMA will coordinate the venue & audience for the lectures with the Sudan Medical Council, Khartoum Teaching Hospital, and the Sudanese Medical Specialization Board, all in Khartoum, Sudan.
Our liaison officer in Sudan is Ihab (Tarawa) Babiker Abdulrahman, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, University of Khartoum, & Consultant Physician in Khartoum Teaching Hospital, Khartoum Sudan. Ihab is Vice President of SAMA and until recently a hospitalist in Marshfield clinic, Marshfield, WI.
