Supporting IDPs in Kosti

Supporting IDPs in Kosti

Since the war broke out in Khartoum on April 15th, thousands fled to Kosti, one of the largest cities in the White Nile State and now, the second-largest city accommodating the internally displaced.

Our partner, “We’re All Values” organization is on the ground, providing shelter, food, and other essential services to over 1,500 displaced people across 13 shelters.

The feeding project is a lifeline for those in need aiming to provide 800 meals at 150,000 SDG (~ $300) per day and food baskets for 49 pregnant and lactating mothers at a monthly price of 50,000 SDG ($100) per mother. With the rainy season approaching, the initiative aims to provide essential supplies like mosquito nets, appropriate shelter maintenance, and sanitation to keep everyone safe and healthy.

We also understand the importance of providing psychological support and rehabilitation to displaced children, teenagers, and other at-risk groups. Therefore, we look to provide these services through specialized teams for 300,000 SDG for one month.

SAMA and We’re All Values have come together to overcome this dire situation, and we need your support to make a difference.
