Virtual Reality in Medicine & Surgery

Virtual Reality in Medicine & Surgery (VRIMS) is a new, immersive experience for clinical demonstrators of medical and surgical techniques and simulation training. The VRiMS group is based at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and the Royal Sussex County Hospital, United Kingdom.

By acquiring a limited supply of headsets, SAMA’s Sudan office in Alsiteen Street has built the capacity to be a learning site for VRIMS 7 which will be held from 18th to 22nd July 2022. SAMA is working with partners to host VRIMS in Khartoum, Sudan in 2023.
