Enhancing PHC Response to Epidemics in Sudan

The Nutrition ECHO program is a virtual learning series designed to address the growing nutrition crisis in Sudan brought on by the ongoing war.

The Relevant Research ECHO is a virtual, interactive learning series launched by the SAMA through the Project ECHO model. Designed specifically for medical students and junior doctors in Sudan, this program equips participants with the essential skills to carry out impactful, real-world research that addresses pressing local health challenges.

In the face of a critical cholera outbreak in Kosti, Sudan, our new initiative, Diarrheal Disease ECHO, is set to empower local healthcare providers with the latest strategies for managing and mitigating diarrheal diseases.

The SAMA Project ECHO, launched in 2021, connects healthcare professionals from underserved regions to global experts through virtual learning. With over 120 sessions and 3,500 participants across 25+ countries, it improves clinical skills in areas like trauma, dialysis, and infectious diseases, empowering providers to deliver better care in challenging contexts.
