Overview
In Goz Alsalam Camp in White Nile State, displaced women face daily challenges that extend beyond food and shelter. Limited access to reproductive health support, essential hygiene supplies, and safe health services places women and girls at increased risk of preventable illness and long-term health complications.
In crisis settings, women’s health is often one of the first areas disrupted and one of the last to be restored. Yet protecting women’s health is critical to safeguarding families, strengthening communities, and supporting long-term recovery.

SAMA’s Women’s Health Commitment
This initiative is part of SAMA’s wider commitment to advancing women’s health across crisis-affected areas of Sudan. From maternal and reproductive health services to community-based medical support and essential supply distribution, SAMA prioritizes interventions that protect women’s dignity, safety, and well-being.
In partnership with We Are All Values (WAV), we delivered 400 hygiene kits to internally displaced women in Goz Alsalam Camp. These kits provided essential items that support menstrual hygiene management, infection prevention, and personal care in displacement settings where access to such supplies is limited.
