Curriculum
This Course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles and practices of research ethics. It is designed to equip researchers with the knowledge and skills required to conduct ethical, responsible, and high-quality research involving human participants. The course highlights key ethical concepts, the importance of protecting participants’ rights and welfare, and the standards outlined in Sudanese and international guidelines.
Participants will also gain an understanding of the role and function of Research Ethics Committees, the requirements for obtaining ethical approval, and the ethical responsibilities that extend across all stages of research—from planning and data collection to analysis and publication. By the end of the training, learners will be better prepared to ensure integrity, transparency, and community trust in their research activities.
