Context
The Sudanese American Medical Association (SAMA) has been at the forefront of delivering critical healthcare services, education, and support to communities in Sudan and beyond. With a growing number of initiatives, there is an increasing need to harness the power and passion of volunteers in the United States.
What will you learn?
The SAMA volunteer program in the United States is designed to provide a hands-on learning experience where volunteers gain valuable skills and insights through direct involvement in meaningful activities. This experiential learning approach ensures that volunteers not only contribute to SAMA’s mission but also grow personally and professionally.
Volunteers can expect to perform the following roles:
- Content Creation- Creating blogs, articles, newsletters, and social media content
- Visual storytelling- Creating videos that highlight the impact of SAMA’s work and connect emotionally with viewers.
- In-person fundraising- Organizing in-person fundraising events.
