Humanitarian Relief Coordinator, White Nile State
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Selma Elbashier as the Humanitarian Relief Coordinator in Kosti, White Nile State. This marks a key step in expanding Dr. Bushra Ibnauf Centers for Learning and Humanitarian Relief Support, which play a vital role in rebuilding Sudan through knowledge and humanitarian action.
Selma holds a first-class honors degree in Pharmacy from the University of Khartoum and has extensive experience in medical convoys, poverty alleviation, and public health awareness. Her leadership in academic and community initiatives makes her the ideal person to bridge the gap between knowledge and humanitarian needs.
In her new role, Dr. Selma will establish the Dr. Bushra Ibnauf Center in Kosti, providing education, training, and humanitarian aid to students, healthcare professionals, and vulnerable communities. She will also coordinate relief efforts across White Nile State, ensuring medical, food, and educational support reach those in need.
At SAMA, we believe rebuilding Sudan requires more than immediate aid—it demands investment in people and knowledge. Communities with access to education and skills can shape their future and create opportunities for generations to come.
Dr. Selma’s appointment is a testament to Sudanese youth leading change. With her passion and dedication, we trust she will make a lasting impact in Kosti and beyond, advancing SAMA’s vision of making knowledge and humanitarian action the foundation for Sudan’s revival.

Humanitarian Relief Coordinator, Gedarif State
The Sudanese American Medical Association (SAMA) is honored to appoint Dr. Abdalrazg Madani Ahmed Madani as the Humanitarian Relief Coordinator in Gedarif, Sudan. His leadership will be instrumental in establishing the Dr. Bushra Ibnauf Center for Learning and Humanitarian Relief Support, a project that embodies resilience, renewal, and the power of community-driven change.
Dr. Abdalrazg is not new to service. A graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry at Red Sea University, he has spent years working at the heart of humanitarian efforts, moving between Gedarif, Sinkat, and Port Sudan, offering medical support, raising health awareness, and standing beside those most in need. His work in medical convoys, grassroots initiatives, and emergency response efforts reflects his deep belief that true healing goes beyond medicine—it is about restoring hope and dignity.
Now, his journey takes a new step. This center will not only provide education and humanitarian relief; it will be a foundation for rebuilding lives. For children who lost access to school, for young people seeking opportunity, and for families longing for stability, this initiative represents more than assistance—it is a path forward.
At SAMA, we believe that rebuilding Sudan starts from within, through the hands of those who refuse to give up. Gedarif is not just a place that has endured hardship—it is a place that will lead in rebuilding Sudan, shaping a future where knowledge, compassion, and resilience guide the way forward.
