On April 29th, 2008, five Sudanese doctors who completed their postgraduate training in the United States established the Sudanese American Medical Association as a non-political, non-profit, educational and humanitarian organization.
Their vision was to improve the health and well-being of our communities through services, capacity building, and education/research.
16 years later, the organization remains committed to its mission and its values: delivering all of our commitment to our people and donors, with the highest standards of transparency, ethics, and compliance.
We take this moment to thank SAMA co-founders and past members of the board of directors.
