SAMA is establishing the Dr. Bushra Ibnauf Center for Learning in Juba, South Sudan. The first activity of the center will be Infectious Disease ECHO; a series of virtual sessions in HIV, Hepatitis B and C targeting learners in subsaharan Africa.
Learners will attend in-person from the Dr. Bushra Ibnauf Centers for Learning in Port Sudan and Juba; in addition to those logging in from their personal devices. Using the ECHO model, sessions will have an “All teach, all learn” approach that emphasizes learner engagement with a lecture delivered by a subject matter expert, a case presentation by one of the learners then a group discussion.
We are looking for subject matter experts in HIV to give the sessions, according to the schedule below. All sessions start at 3pm Central African time; which is 8 am Central time/9 am eastern time/2pm GMT.
