Supporting medical education during the Sudan humanitarian crisis
Context
The Sudanese American Medical Association (SAMA) is introducing simulation-based education at the Dr. Bushra Ibnauf Center for Learning in Port Sudan. This innovative approach leverages online self-directed cases, enabling healthcare learners at various levels to practice and simulate over 190 medical cases. Accessible via smartphones or computers, this method covers different emergencies across various specialties. Simulation-based education replaces or amplifies real experiences, providing a fully interactive platform that replicates substantial aspects of real-world medical scenarios under expert guidance.
SAMA’s initiative aims to elevate the quality of healthcare education in Port Sudan, ensuring that doctors are well-prepared to face real-life challenges with expertise and confidence. Join us in this groundbreaking educational journey and be a part of transforming healthcare training in Sudan.
