Amended Bylaws – 2022
SAMA has evolved since its inception to become a nonprofit organization whose programs attract donors from a wide spectrum of professions, ethnicity, and countries. This transformation requires changes to the organization structure to allow for more representation of these donors in the decision-making process and utilize their much-needed skills and expertise while maintaining the mission of the organization.
On August 29th, 2022, the SAMA Board of Trustees (now the Board of Directors) proposed a series of changes to SAMA Bylaws to its members to achieve the above-mentioned goals. Favorable responses were received & on September 17th, 2022, the SAMA Board of Trustees (now the Board of Directors) approved the Bylaw Amendments.
