The Dr. Isam Osman Mobile Rescue Teams bring lifesaving healthcare services directly to underserved communities affected by war in Sudan, ensuring that no one is left behind during times of crisis. Operating from the Dr. Bushra Ibnauf Center for Learning and Humanitarian Relief Support in Port Sudan, our mobile teams travel to remote and underserved areas, reaching those displaced. With a focus on accessibility and equity, we bridge the gap for communities with little or no medical care access.
The Dr. Isam Osman Mobile Rescue Teams project was established in honor of the late Dr. Isam Osman. Dr. Osman was the Head of the Vascular and Endovascular Department and Operating Theatres in King Saud Medical City, Riyadh, KSA. He passed away on September 29, 2023, and left a legacy of surgical excellence, leadership, and mentorship. This program embodies his commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable populations in Sudan through providing medical care and capacity-building efforts.
