Facility upgrade in Dr. Bushra Ibnauf Center for Learning in Port Sudan
As temperature and humidity rise in Port Sudan, and power outages become more frequent, there is an essential need for solar panel powered air conditioning.
To that effect, SAMA is expanding its’ current solar panel capacity and purchasing solar panel-friendly air conditioning. This vital step comes to maintain the ideal learning environment at the center and ensure the smooth flow of the planned activities.

Bringing virtual reality training to Sudan
We are excited to share that the SAMA team recently joined the VRiMS program held in Burundi. This innovative program utilizes extended reality (XR) to provide advanced simulation training, offering immersive and interactive learning experiences.
In Burundi, SAMA witnessed firsthand the transformative potential of this technology. The VRiMS program is designed to enhance practical skills through realistic simulations, making it an invaluable tool for training in various surgical fields.
Building on the success of our participation, we are now planning to introduce this immersive technology to Sudan. Our goal is to leverage XR to revolutionize training methodologies, improve skill acquisition, and ultimately contribute to the development of highly competent professionals in Sudan.
