The Sudanese American Medical Association (SAMA) invites organizations and individuals working in humanitarian response or healthcare during the ongoing war in Sudan to share their experiences, knowledge, and impact at the SAMA Annual Summit 2025 in Cairo. The summit spotlights community-led solutions in crisis.
Overview
- Who can apply: Humanitarian and healthcare actors working on the Sudan crisis.
- Priority areas: Food Security · Outbreak Response · Primary Healthcare
- Presentation mode: In-person only (Cairo, Egypt). No virtual presentations.
- Presentation length: 10 minutes
- Slides: Presenters must use the SAMA slides template (link will be shared with accepted speakers).
- Costs: Presenters are responsible for their own travel and accommodation.
Presentation Types
We welcome previously published or unpublished work in any of the following formats:
- Scientific Abstracts – Research findings, evaluations, or studies.
- Program Proposals – Innovative ideas or models addressing urgent needs.
- Program Reports – Evidence-based updates from ongoing initiatives.
- Testimonials / Field Stories – First-hand accounts from the field.
