Humanitarian Crisis Response

Background

On April 15th, 2023, civil war broke out in Sudan, and thousands of innocent civilians were killed and injured. SAMA launched a national humanitarian crisis response. Our strategy is to raise funds internationally and transfer them to our alliance of trusted implementing partners in Sudan, whom we closely monitor and evaluate through our Sudan office.

This secures stable revenue for local organizations, which enables them to do more long-term planning and build their capacity to take on bigger projects and have a larger impact. It allows us to focus on fundraising, planning, monitoring, evaluation, and training of local implementing partners, with implementation by the local community.

We are committed to being accountable to donor organizations and to transparency in reporting outcomes.
