Emergency Food Security Grant for Darfur, Sudan

As part of our ongoing commitment to food security in conflict-affected regions, the Sudanese American Medical Association (SAMA) is offering a $5,000 grant to support local nonprofit organizations working in Darfur, Sudan. This funding is intended to help address urgent food insecurity and malnutrition among internally displaced persons (IDPs).

What We’re Funding

SAMA is seeking proposals from registered local organizations with proven experience in humanitarian relief. The grant supports projects of General Food Distribution that provide food items to displaced families and communities residing in IDP camps across Darfur.

Projects must be implemented within June 2025 and align with SAMA’s principles of political neutrality, and inclusivity.
