Dr. Mohamed Essam Ahmed
Dr. Mohamed Essam Ahmed, SAMA recently appointed intern, is a graduate of the University of Khartoum, Faculty of Medicine who first joined our SAMA team as a content creator in 2023. A staunch believer in SAMA as a fertile ground for personal development, his favorite aspect of SAMA is the organized work environment, where detailed instructions for tasks foster a sense of responsibility without pressure.
In 2024, Dr. Ahmed wishes for SAMA to continue touching the lives of Sudanese people, involving more interns and volunteers with efforts in humanitarian relief and medical training. His foremost hope is for the current war in Sudan to come to an end and for the much-needed national rehabilitation efforts to kick off. Though he acknowledges that this will be a difficult task, he is certain that with qualified leadership and a constructive mindset, it is achievable.
Dr. Salwan Mustafa
A SAMA volunteer since September 2023, Salwan Mustafa first showcased her passion for graphic design with banners, ID cards, reports, and more. As a sixth-year medical student at the Ahfad University For Women, Ms. Mustafa appreciates SAMA’s noble cause and action with humanitarian relief and the training of medical professionals amidst the gravity of the situation in Sudan.
